Clark Kellogg

A noted communications and brand expert, Clark is sought after for his expertise in distinguishing brand, strategic communications design, and facilitation. With over 25 years of experience, his insights into organizational communications and his ability to distill clarity from chaos are recognizable in the many forms of his work.

Clark’s background is rich and varied. Trained as an architect, he practiced for several years in New York City. Convinced the design process had wider
applicability as a strategic tool, Clark diversified his practice and focus to include communications, strategy and graphic design for clients as varied as American Express, The Paul Taylor Dance Company and New York University.

Continuously seeking deeper understanding, Clark has done advanced study of communication, facilitation, coaching, teaching and design. Recognizing that great leaders, teams, and companies choose to live in a powerful story, Clark has developed a highly innovative methodology for helping people build and tell seductive and compelling stories as a means of building identity and accomplishing goals.

Clark offers unparalleled expertise in the area of brand discovery, alignment, design and communication. Defining brand as the making and keeping of promises, Clark is masterful at helping organizations align their identity, culture, and performance. These skills were sharpened while Clark ran the global brand and communication efforts of State Street Global Advisors, the world’s largest investment management firm.

Clark earned degrees in Environmental Design and Architecture at UC Berkeley and CCNY. Currently he teaches communication by design at UC Berkeley. Clark is a member of the International Association of Facilitators.
